  • The King is dead!
  • What's a secret?
  • Have you heard? Is it a secret?
  • Rising Action
  • The Inn is closed! How can I get the sword now?
  • Climax
  • Look! He's gotten the sword from the stone
  • The King?  He's the king?! Of course he's our king!
  • The king has died, this leaves the kingdom worried for the future. This sets the stage for the rest of the story.
  • Falling Action
  • Are you sure about that?
  • The future king has been sent to fetch a sword, but there are none available. He must hurry to get one.
  • Resolution
  • The new king has arrived, and has impressed everyone with his ability to pull the sword from the stone. This foreshadows great things in his future.
  • Theme
  • I have to get Sir Kay a sword, but where can I get one?
  • The soon to be knighted Kay claims to his father that he was the one to pull the sword from the stone. The father was not so gullible and didn't believe him.
  • It was me father, I pulled the sword from the stone!
  • Kay gives in, and kneels down in front of the new King, along with his father. The King starts crying.
  • Loyalty - The moral of the story was loyalty because Wart was going to let Kay have credit for pulling the sword out of the stone.
