Storyboard Text

  • These humans don't deserve the attention they get from the deities. I should be more recognized and upheld more power.
  • I have an idea! I will send "gifts" down to the humans, but they truly contain great evil and harm that will be laid upon all of them.
  • There once was a sorceress who lived in the clouds.  It was because she lived above all life on Earth that she thought she was better than them. She believed that she deserved more from the gods rather than the puny humans below.
  • What has happened to our world? It is now decaying, and everyone is fighting.
  • Look what you have done! You must pay for your actions.
  • It was in all these moments of condescending that the sorceress had an idea on how she could show that she was better than the humans.
  • Noooo!
  • As your punishment, the gods are stripping you of your powers.
  • With her plan in mind, the great sorceress began to complete it by sending down the gifts of evil such as hatred, war, envy, and disease.
  • Because of the sorceress' actions, chaos struck Earth and the humans, destroying all that was once good and ridding them of their innocence.
  • Meanwhile, the gods noticed all of this and were very troubled and dismayed by the sorceress' actions. They decided to call her up to Mount Olympus to discuss and punish what she had done.
  • And so the former sorceress went back to her home in the clouds defeated. Because of this punishment, she cried. And due to her cold heart, her tears froze into snow. So now every year around the same time, it has always snowed and the humans can feel the coldness of the sorceress' heart.
