  • Who won the battle?
  • The battle of fort Niagara was a battle late into the French and Indian war. The british were siegeing the French controlled Fort Niagra.
  • At this point into the war the British had begun to win more battles and the French were on the defensive. It was a battle between the Iroquois  allied with the British against the French.
  • The battle ended in a British-Iroquois victory. 109 French soldiers were killed 377 were captured. On the british side of things 239 were killed or wounded a small amount in comparison to their total numbers.
