- One of the main important events in world war ll was the attack on Pear Harbor. Germany invaded the Soviet Union. And Japan attacks Pear Harbor. And the attack on the US clearly meant that there was going to be war.Click to Edit Description
- Battle of Midway
- Germany invades Poland. And France & Britain declare war on Germany. This event is important because the invasion of Poland by Germany is what marked the beginning of world war. The German invasion of Poland was a primer on how Hitler intended to wage war. Which became the "blizkrieg" strategy.
- Germany Instrument of Surrender
- France falls to Germany. Roosevelt wins a third term. The German invasion of France and low countries during the second world war. France had previously invaded Germany in 1939.
- D-Day
- This event is another important event in world war ll. Allies win the battle of the Midway. Nazi leaders plan "Final Solution" For Europe's Jews. Six months later Japan's attack on Pear Harbor and one month after the Battle of the coral sea.
- In 1945, Germany surrenders. The U.S drops an atomic bomb on Japan. Later on Japan surrenders. The Germany Instrument Surrenders was the legal document which effected the extinction of Nazi Germany. And ended world was ll in Europe.
- In 1944, allied troops land in a Normandy on D-Day. The invasion of Normandy in Operation Overload during world war ll. This was the largest seaborne invasion in history.
