Hi. My name is Sarah Miller and I am the director of Tiny Earth.
Tiny Earth is a network of instructors and students focused on crowdsourcing antibiotic discovery from soil.
We seek to inspire students to pursue careers in science through original laboratory and field research that can potentially have a global impact.
The goal of Tiny Earth is to discover antibiotics to solve the antibiotics resistance crisis. It's a huge discovery initiative.
My role is to coordinate all the components of this network. I make sure that every person and element works and I love it.
I got involved in Tiny Earth by following my heart and by thinking outside the boundaries. I'd always been into science. It wasn't until I met more like minded people that I got into life sciences and then Tiny Earth.
