Storyboard Text

  • Alright Nurse, leave me be. I have a big day tomorrow and a lot of stuff on my mind.
  • No, there is no need mother, you and the Nurse can go.
  • Alright sweetie, go to bed now, we'll be going.
  • Hi sweetheart, can I help you with anything?
  • I'm scared, what do I do? Nurse! No, I must act alone. What if this doesn't work, what if the Friar is trying to poison me so that he is not dishonored if he is to marry me again? No, he wouldn't, he is a holy man.
  • What if I wake up before Romeo comes to get me? I would suffocate to death! Also, the terror of the place, where Tybalt's fresh body lies, along with those of my ancestors.
  • "Where blood Tybalt, yet but green in earth,  Lies fest'ring in his shroud; where, as they say, At some hours in the night spirits resort" (4. 3. 43-45)
  • Caution, spirits  may get fussy at night
  • "O, if I wake, shall I not be distraught, Environéd with all these hideous fears, And madly play with my forefathers' joints, And pluck the mangled Tybalt from his shroud, And, in this rage, with some grate kinsman's bone, As with a club, dash out my desp'rate brains?" (4. 3. 50-55)
  • Caution, spirits  may get fussy at night
  • (She drinks and falls upon her bed within the curtains)
  • Oh! I think I see Tybalt's ghost figure. "Romeo, Romeo, Romeo! Here's drink. I drink to thee." (4. 3. 59-60)
