  • The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street
  • Exposition
  • Hmm, I wonder what all the commotion is about.
  • The power has gone out!
  • Who is that?
  • Rising Action
  • Tell me who you are or I'll shoot you!
  • Hmm? What did he say?
  • Isabella Durkalec B2
  • Climax
  • AHHHH!
  • I didn't know it was someone we knew! I didn't mean to shoot him!
  • Maple Street, U.S.A. Late Summer. A tree-lined town of porch gliders, hop scotch, the knocking of the front door, and the ring of the doorbells. A foreign light flashes. None of the townspeople knew what it was. Some had speculations, assuming it might've been a meteor. The town slowly begins to lose power.
  • Falling Action
  • Are you okay?
  • So, I've been having insomnia...
  • Pete heads to Floral Street to see if they have power.  Steve's car still works, one of the only appliances that actually worked. They argue on who is responsible for this. A figure is seen in the back, approaching the group.
  • Resolution
  • I think our work here is done.
  • Look at them! They won't be friends anymore!
  • Charlie swings the gun to shoot at the figure. He shot and it was Pete Van Horn. A woman interrupts to tell Charlie that the lights in his house just turned on. They start to speculate that Charlie is behind all of the occurring events. Charlie tries to deny it but the group gives reasonable explanations as to why Charlie was behind all of this.
  • AHHH!
  • Your house lights are on, Charlie! Check it out!
  • Everyone starts to assume whom is responsible for the outage. Everyone gives reasons behind who they think caused this. Les talks about his insomnia and why he can't sleep.
  • No way!
  • My son is small, he couldn't have done all this!
  • It was probably Tommy.
  • Two figures are talking over the group's quarrel. Were they the ones who caused this? They let the group tear apart their friendship.
  • *Complaining and Yelling*
