  • With more than 2 million dead in the battle of Stalingrad that makes One of the bloodiest battles in the history of War. More than 1000 tons of bombs were dropped on Stalingrad by the Germans. This led to the Russians staying as close to their front lines as possible so that Germans and Russians would both be killed by the German air support. Although the Germans took most of the city, Soviet Union answered back with a counterattack that led to the Nazis’ sixth army surrendering. Dat Nguyen

  • The Battle of Midway is considered to be one of the most important American naval victories of World War II. American leaders were able to anticipate Japanese maneuvers by deciphering Japanese naval codes. This allowed the US navy to launch a surprise attack on the larger Japanese Fleet in the area. This turned the tide of World War II to the US favor in the Pacific.

  • To Hitler, Jewish people were inferior and an alien threat to Germany. After years of Nazi Rule In Germany The holocaust was Hitler "Final Solution". Around 6 million Jews and 5 million other people ,who were targeted died, in the Holocaust. More than million of those deaths were children

  • One of the 5 million people who were killed in the Holocaust were believers of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Priest, and Pastors . Hitler felt threated by them since they refused to recognize any God besides the one they believe in. Refusing to sign documents of loyalty to the Nazi ideology was the last straw for the Nazis.
  • The other people that were targeted were homosexuals, disabled, black children, resisters, Roma Gypsies, and interracial marriages if they didn't divorce.
