in Gn 8 is that Noah gave God what he wanted and God said he would no longer curse the ground because of humans. The first thing that happened is that they were on the ark for a more then a few days already and Noah had brought his wife and his sons, and his sons wives on the ark. Next God told Noah that he wanted all the birds, creatures and crawling creatures on the ark so Noah listen and did as God had said. Finally, God said that he would no longer curse the human beings because of the somewhat evil in the youth of the human heart.
"God remembered Noah and all the animals, wild and tame, that were with him in the ark." (Gn 8: 1)
"In the evening the dove came back to him, and there in its bill was a plucked-off olive leaf! So Noah knew that the waters had diminished on the earth." (Gn 8 : 11).
"So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons' wives; and all the animals, all the birds, and all the crawling creatures that crawl on the earth went out of the ark by families." (Gn 8: 18-19)
A life lesson we can learn from this passage is that you have to be patient with things and they will come smoothly back.
