  • The women's March was a march attempting to get bread, and capture the king and queen. Marquis De Lafayette, a helper in the American Revolution, helped along in this march.
  • Execution of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette
  • This declaration was drafted by Abbe Sieyes and Marquis De Lafayette, influenced by the Declaration of Independence. It states "Liberty, Equality, Faternity.". It has 17 articles.
  • Rise of Napoleon
  • Lasted from 1793-1794. Around 17,000 capital punishments were issued in this time. Over 80% of the executions being the third estate.
  • Fall of Napoleon
  • On the 21st of January, 1793, King Louis XVI was executed. On the 16th of October, 1793. They were unstable rulers of France, and the people wanted them dead.
  • He captured power in a coup d'etat, in 1799. He decided to crown himself emperor in 1804, stayed there for a little over a decade. He was a military genius.
  • Napoleons power fell in 1814, and he was exiled. He made a brief comeback of power in 1815, in the 100 days war, until he was exiled again. He died on the island he was exiled to.
