  • Retterting To America
  • Were free!
  • Washington's Idea
  • I cant let my men leave!
  • Washington's Bold Plan
  • I've got the best plan!
  • The soon to be Americans came over to get away from the king because they wanted to be independent and they did not like the taxes.
  • Getting Ready for War
  • We need 18 guns, 4 canons, ect
  • George Washington wanted his troops to re- new their service time with Washington so, Washington decided to do something bold to show the troops that he is worth staying with.
  • Travel for War
  • Were half way there! Keep Rowing!
  • Washington's plan for battle was to invade the British and the Hessians at dawn so it would be a surprise attack, the Americans would leave the evening before the attack which happened to be on Christmas, and they would arrive the 26th of December. The reason Americans wanted to fight is because the Hessians is because the Americans were low on food and even though they had enough weapons they could have more.
  • Attacking and Winning!
  • We surrender!
  • It's Christmas Day, the day to go over for the surprise attack they planned to leave at 5:30 and get there at dawn but they realized that it takes longer to get there then expected and the earliest they can get there is around 8 so, they're hoping that the Hessians are hungover from Christmas so everyone will still be asleep. Right now were packing up and leaving for the surprise attack.
  • We are Crossing the Delaware River. And we just got to New Jersey.
  • Were attacking the British because they believed that everyone should be under the ruling of the king also because of the taxes. Also attacking the Hessians to get supplies. The Hessians surrendered because there connel got shot and now they would not have a chance because they don't have a colonel and they were already outnumbered with soldiers and weapons.
  • We win!
