In the play, jonas goes directly to the annex but doesnt describe it, unlike when in the book the author empisizes the description of the annex. pg 73, 74 " but the most conspicous difference was the books... He had never known that known that other books existed."
In the play, the similarity of the ending, was they ended on the hill, and heard music. This endicate the director, kept the same ending, and left the mutiple possbile endings kind of feel. Pg 179 " for the first time, he heard something that he knew to be Music."
Once Jonas comes to realize the truth of history, and what the world was like, in both play and book, Joans becomes very angry and has a big internal conflict. Jonas, runs in the annex yelling, "its not fair"! Pg, 113, " why did they do that, joans said angrikly, It wasnt fair, llets change it!" The simikarity, is that in both, jonas is aways angry, and Can't seem to cope with the truth.
