Storyboard Text

  • During the war,about one million horseswere used by soldiers. Horses were used to transport goods, troops, and were used as part of the cavalry.
  • This scene represents that many horses were used during the war.
  • This scene represents the dogs locating a wounded soldier.
  • In the war, dogs were used to locate and help wounded soldiers, carry messages, be friends to soldiers, and they hunted and killed rats.
  • A small cylinder was attached to the pigeons leg which contained a message. This scene represents a soldier attaching a message to the pigeons leg.
  • During the war, pigeons were efficient communication for the soldiers. They could travel up to 60 mph, for hundred of miles, and were as well hard to bring down by the enemy.
