- Yanek that is amazing, how did you do it?
- It's homemade from the things that were just lying around
- Plaszow Concentration Camp
- Guys, there is a tiny space under the floor boards where we can hide and rest.
- Sound like a bad idea, we could get caught.
- Wieliczka Salt Mine
- I want to escape, I want to fight back and survive! If everybody fights back we could easily take them down!
- Chapter: 1 - Yanek and his family are at their house and Yanek is showing them his homemade projector. This is before the Nazi's invaded Krakow, Poland and this was Yanek's normal life before the invasion.
- Chapter 12: Yanek and two other boys around his age hide under a floorboard to escape death and get a good sleep.
- Chapter 13: Yanek wanted to fight back and had thoughts about fighting back. He did not want to be torn from the pages of the world.
