The first two chapters of the book, The Call of the Wild show how Buck (dog/main character) lives his life as a king even though there are different dogs living with him. Eventually he gets kidnapped and selled to be sleigh dog.
In this scene, Buck gets kidnapped by the gardener's helper (Manuel) and he gets sold of to a dog seller. Manuel did this because he wanted money.
Give me the dog and I will give you the money Manuel.
In this scene, Buck is sold of to different owners to be a sleigh dog and is riding the ship to take part of the Klondike strike.
In this scene, Curly (one of the sleigh dogs) dies because she started fighting with a husky dog the size of a full-grown wolf. Buck is very surprised by how the dogs are acting and is very sad because Curly was friendly to him.
In this scene, more sleigh dogs arrive and they are in harnesses (they don't look the same, but these dogs were the only one who had a harness) and they are up the trail toward the Dyea Canon.
*howls at the moon*
This scene represents the last page of chapter two because Buck learns that he has to survive using the law of club and fang.
