Today I would like to talk about some scientists that helped in the cell theory I will be going over the time period they helped with the cell theory where they helpedand how they helped.
Zacharias Jansen
They had some crazy names jeez
I'll start with Zacharias Jansen and make my way down he started helping out in 1600 in Middleburg he also made the first telescope and microscope
Anton Van Leeuwenhoek and Robert Hookie
Anton Van Leeuwenhoek 1668-Delft. He made his own microscope that could take a deeper look at molecules.Robert Hookie mid 1665- Cork. He discovered the word cell and he contributed to the cell theory.
Mathias Schiedam and Theodor Schwann
Mathias Schiedam 1838- Germany. He discovered that all of the plants and trees around him were made out of cells. Theodor Schwann 1838-Germany He came to the conclusion that all of the animals around him were made out of cells just like how Mathias did
Rudolph Virchow
Rudolph Virchow 1853 - Sweden. He came up with a theory that all cells arise from pre-existing cells to lay the groundwork for cellular pathology, or the study of disease at the cellular level.
