Storyboard Text

  • Romeo's Directions To Balthasar
  • Balthasar:"I will be gone, sir, and not trouble you."(Act 5, Scene 3, Line 40)
  • Romeo:"Hold, take this letter. Early in the morning see thou deliver it to my lord and father..... Therefore hence, be gone.....By heaven, I will tear thee joint by joint..."( Act 5, Scene 3, Line 23-24, 32, 35)
  • Balthasar Falls Asleep
  • zzzzzzzzzzz
  • Romeo And Paris
  • Romeo:"Put not another sin upon my head. By urging me to fury. O, be gone."( Act 5, Scene 3, Line 62-63)
  • Romeo and Balthasar arrive to the Capulet tomb. Romeo tells Balthasar to give Lord Montague a letter. He warns Balthasar not to come looking after him or that he will kill him. Romeo goes inside.
  • Romeo Dies
  • Balthasar has had a long day. He decides to sleep and then go deliver the letter to Lord Montague.
  • Friar Lawrence Arrives
  • Friar Lawrence: "Romeo! O, pale - Who else? What, Paris too?..."( Act 5, Scene 3, Line 144)
  • Paris arrives to see Juliet. Paris sees Romeo and believes that he is going to ruin the tomb. Paris becomes furious and threatens Romeo. Romeo tells Paris to fight him and they begin to fight. Romeo in the end kills Paris.
  • Juliet Dies
  • Paris:"Stop thy unhallowed toil, vile Montague! Can vengeance be pursued further than death? Condemned villain, I do apprehend thee.Obey and go with me, for thou must die."(Act 5, Scene 3, Line 54-57)
  • Juliet:"O happy dagger, this is thy sheath.There rust and let me die."(Act 5, Scene 3, Line 169-170)
  • Romeo enters to where Juliet is and kisses her. Romeo takes out the poison and drinks it. The poison comes into affect and Romeo dies.
  • Romeo:"(kisses Juliet) Come, bitter conduct,come, unsavoury guide.....Here's to my love! O true apothecary, thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die."(Act 5, scene 3, line 116, 119-120)
  • Friar Lawrence has arrived to take Juliet out of the tomb. He ends up finding Romeo dead on the ground. Juliet wakes to only find Romeo dead.
  • Juliet:"O comfortable Friar! Where is my lord? I do remember well where I should be, and there I am. Where is my Romeo?"(Act 5, Scene 3, Line 148-150)
  • Friar Lawrence insists in Juliet leaving with him but she refuses to do so. The Friar leaves. Juliet kisses Romeo. Juliet find the poison's contain empty. She grabs Romeo's dagger and commits suicide.
