- Soon after Michael yearns to trek, Maya sensed that her husband was with her, but not because of his constant looking over maps and unearthing of his boots and jackets

- Michael attempted a trek in Roopkund, a Himalayan lake, but failed due to a lack of experience and severe weather.
- He's leaving again, I'm worried. It's so dangerous.
- I'll go back to Roopkund. This time, i have better equipment Hon, and i was timing it differently so i know what to expect already.
- The night before Michael's departure
- The journey is not difficult. There will be no rains or snows when we arrive, and wildflowers will be abundant. Now is not the time to be concerned; I'll be OK. I promise I'll get back to you.
