Storyboard Text

  •  Over the course of the story so far, Roger has changed in many ways . Roger is a follower of Jack and is supportive of him no matter what he does. The major way he has changed in the story so far is the fact that he has become more savage. In the story on page 62 it states ¨The subsoil beneath the palm trees was a raised beach, ans generations of palms had worked loose in this the stones that has lain on the sands of another shore. Roger stooped, picked up a stone, aimed, and threw it at Henry-threw it to miss.¨ I think Golding had intended Roger to represent humanity in a person. His human side stopped him from hurting the Henry.  I feel this moment is importent because it leads to the movement of the group overall becoming  worse people.
