In the book there was a memory of a Elephant dying. "Going closer, he watched them hack the tusks from a motionless elephant on the ground and haul them away, splattered away with blood." It was a good idea not to include this in the play because it might have been too violent for the young audience in the play.
In the play there was a memory of Jonas Bonus Being inside of a boat. "He was on the boat and it was calm and relaxing and he liked the memory. It showed the audience why Jonas didn't quit after seeing memories of war, because he knew there were good ones like this."
In the play when the memory appeared on the screen the audience had a more clear idea of what was happening . It was a good idea to put in the memory of
