- In which our heroine narrowly escapes death
- Nadya lives in peace with her friends when one day the Tranavian prince (Her kingdom is at war with Tranavia) Comes to kill her because she is magical. Her and her friend (Anna) And they escape the prince, losing the lives of all of their friends in the process. Nadya feels horrible that she needs to live because of her powers.
- I'm the Prince of Tranavia and I am here to kill Nadya because she's magical and you might win the war because of her!!
- Nadya we have to leave! He'll kill you!!!

- Nadya and Anna Go with the three foreigners to an abandoned Church where they tell Nadya and Anna about their plan to kill the Tranavian king and stop the war so more people don't die.
- Are you guys lost? Wait are you Nadya? Are you really magic? You can help us stop the war with Tranavia! Come with us!!
- Ok great we'll come with you! Lets stop the war.
- No!! He's Tranavian and we hate Tranavia.

- Nadya doesn't get along with or trust the Tranavian (Malachaisz) because he used to be a part of Tranavia's elite and deadly warriors, the vultures.
- I don't trust you.
- Like your not going to kill me the second you get the chance.
- I can't believe my father ordered me to come home. I almost had the girl. Now he's sending the vultures after them What's going on?
- He's going to see us!
- Also we need to leave because the vultures are almost here.
- I'll kill the king
- Hello, Malachaisz. I look forward to fighting you.
- We have to get the others to safety.
- We have to run.
- Nadya Follows Malachaisz out because she sees him leaving and she doesn't trust him. He realizes she's following him and takes her with him to spy on the prince. They find out that the vultures were sent after them.
- When they get back o the church, Nadya agrees to help their cause the way they wanted her to.
- The vultures find them and go after Malachaisz (because he is a traitor to them) and Nadya (because she is magical). And so Malachaisz and Nadya flee together in hopes of the vultures following them and saving the lives of their friends.
