- Is it just me or have you ever wondered how such a small piece of metal can do so much?
- Yea I agree, But that small piece of metal actually requires 72 elements from the periodic Table. Each of the elements have their own features that help make the phone useable
- copper, gold and silver is used for wiring, lithium and cobalt is in the battery, aluminium, silicon, oxygen and potassium is in the glass screen, But My favourite is Yttruim
- Yttruim is a Rare earth Mineral. and its job is to help create the the displayscreens as well general lighting.
- What is Yttruim? and what does it do for the phone?
- It is but in a couple of important steps the Yttruim can be obtained
- Really a Rare earth mineral! That sounds important
- Tell me, how do you get it? because if it allows me to see my apps on my phone, Its my new favourite too!
- The very first stages of Yttrium starts with mining. Yttruim is found in other rocks so open pit methods are required in which rocks are broken and blasted into small pieces to help the next following step to be conducted in a time efficient way
