  • "Under the guise of showing Perdix the view from the top of Athena's temple on the Acropolis, he pushed Perdix off the roof." (148) 
  • "When Minos learned of Theseus' escape, he blamed Daedalus. As punishment, he imprisoned Daedalus and his young son, Icarus, in the Labyrinth." (149)
  • However, Pasiphaë, remembering Daedalus' helpfulness, secretly unchained the father and son." (149)
  • "When Daedalus finished his invention, he fitted one pair of wings upon himself, slowly raised himself into the air, and practiced using his new wings to balance his body in the air." (149)
