Storyboard Text

  • Declaration of Independence
  • Here we go.....
  • All men are created equal
  • THIS IS NOT FAIR!
  • Whites only!
  • Whites Only!
  • All people have basic right that cannot be taken away
  • HAPPINESS!
  • LIFE!
  • LIBERTY!
  • On July 4, 1776, George Washington had approved the Independent nation from the British rule.
  • The government gets its power to make decisions and protect rights from its people .
  • This man thinks this is unfair and disrespectful because there should be no difference in other people just because of there skin tone.
  • When the government does not protect the rights of the people, the people have the rights to alter and abolish.
  • This crowd of people feel the way they do (happy) because they have basic rights that cannot be taken away by anyone.
  • What I believe
  • I believe that "All people have basic rights that cannot be taken away" is most important because without life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, we wouldn't be able to do anything freely without the being controlled by the British.
  • These soldiers where sent by the government to protect there people's rights.
  • Since the government did not protected these people's rights, they have the right to alter or abolish the government.
  • PROTECT OUR RIGHTS!
  • I believe that "All people have basic rights that cannot be taken away" is most important because without life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, we wouldn't be able to do anything freely without the being controlled by the British.
