Science project: Carbonic acids
This storyboard does not have a description.
Why is it important, how does it affect humanity?
When carbon dioxide (CO2) dissolves in water (H20)
Equation = (CO2 + H2O ⇌ H2CO3)
When this reaction finishes your result as a solution, carbonic acid (H2O3)
Carbonic acid is not considered toxic or hazardous and is present in the human body. However, its exposure at high concentrations can irritate the eyes and respiratory tract.
Where can you find carbonic acid
You can find carbonic acid in most aerated drinks, such as soda and soft drinks, this is why your parents might nag you about not drinking sodas and soft drinks, as they cause to the risk of calcium and magnesium loss from bones due to a change in the body's pH levels go to acidic.
