This is the exposition because it introduces the Watson family and the setting, Michigan. I know this because in the text it starts in Kenny's point of view and how Michigan it's really cold. He also introduces his family by saying what their doing.
This is the rising action because this is when Byron starts to get in a lot of trouble and it's starting to start conflict. In the chapters 5,6,7 it states all the bad things Byron did.
This is the climax because this is the turning point of the story and this is when the Watson family go on a trip to Birmingham. This also turns the story because in the up coming chapters problems start to happen.
Be cautious of your decisions
This is the falling action because this is when in chapter 13 Kenny drowns and Byron saves him. In chapter 14 the Birmingham bombing happens. This is also the Falling action because problems start to happen.
This is the conclusion because this is when everything gets solved and when the Watson's come back from Birmingham. This is also when Kenny gets comfort by Byron.
