  • Cons
  • What is a two party system? A two party system is a political system where the electorate gives votes to two major parties.
  • Some of the cons of the Electoral College are that some people feel like their vote doesn’t matter and it facilitates a two party system.
  • New York vs. Vermont As of right now, New York has 29 electoral votes and Vermont has 3. This means that, in the election, candidates are more likely to try and win the bigger state, in this case New York. This might make people in Vermont may think there vote doesn't count for as much.
