Birds of Stymphilian Lake
This storyboard does not have a description.
The Birds of Stymphilian Lake were a group of monstrous birds who devoured humans. They had beaks made of bronze and sharp, metallic feathers.
They were created by Ares, but always hunted by wolves.
King Eursytheus gave Hercules his sixth task which was to kill the birds in hopes that he'd fail.
Hercules used a rattle to frighten the birds.
He then shot at the birds with arrows he had dipped in poisonous blood of Hydra.
The remaining birds left Arcadia and went to an island in the Euxine Sea.
