Glycolysis is the process in which glucose is broken down to produce energy.
The krebs cycle is the process in which Acetyl is used to form NADH, and FADH2
And the electron transport chain is when the synthesis of ATP, and production of water is done.
Wait, so what is the purpose of water in this reaction?
Water is a by-product in this reaction, and actually, CO2 is as well. Such as Glucose being a product in photosynthesis.
So now that we are touching that, is there any relation between photosynthesis, and cellular respiration?
Well, actually. Photosynthesis converts carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and glucose. Glucose is used as food by the plant and oxygen is a by-product.
Cellular respiration converts oxygen and glucose into water and carbon dioxide. Water and carbon dioxide are by- products and ATP is energy that is made from the process.
Wow, that was a whole lot of information to process.
And that brings us to our next subject of talk, Fotosíntesis. Are you ready?
