Storyboard Text

  • yes i finally made a time machine but it needs only 5 amps and my battery is of 10 amps
  • you can use resistors Tony
  • so according to the ohms law u will need to use a 2 ohm resistor
  • V=I/R
  • oh no! i have only 4 ohm resistors in my office .
  • Tony u can connect the 4 ohm resisters in such a way such that it results in 2 ohms
  • whatt tell me howw ?
  • so Tony you can take 2 of the 4 ohm resistors and connect them in parallel and the final resistance will be 2 ohms
  • 1/R=1/4+1/4 1/R=2/4 1/R=1/2 R=2 ohms
  • thanks! i did not know about parallel connections of resistors.
  • i finally finished my time machine
  • well done now use it
  • 3 of the 4 ohm resistors connected in parallel will lead to less resistance which means more current will flow
  • ohh no!! i connected 3 of the 4 ohm resistors instead of 2
