Benjamin Tallmadge became the head of the Culper Spy Ring
I hereby announce that we will form a spy group called the Culper Spy Ring
In 1778, during the Revolutionary War, George Washington established a secret spy group, known as the Culper Spy Ring. Benjamin Tallmadge was made the leader of it, and he only allowed his best friends whom he knew that he could trust. One of those friends, Abraham Woodhull, went by the name of Samuel Culper and went to spy on the British.
Samuel Culper set sail to go to Great Britain
Goodbye, John Bolton (Benjamin Tallmadge)!
Hello! I'm Samuel Culper. I'm going to help you guys win the battle.
Why hello there! Come inside, Samuel. I will discuss our battle plans with you.
The Culper Spy Ring was a successful spy group that passed a lot of information to the American's side of the war. Because of the Culper Spy Ring, the American's side of the war had a lot of help and won the Revolutionary War. Abraham Woodhull managed to pass all the information by going from New York to Long Island Sound.
