I don't like this horse. Burn it!
For ten years, there has been Greece and Troy. The Greeks wanted to win and end the war. Odysseus that of an idea (inspired by Athena) to end the war for good and win for the Greeks.
The Greeks would offer a gigantic wooden horse as a "peace offering". The horse would have a hollow stomach which the Greek soldiers would be hiding in ready to attack and open the gates to the 100's of Greek soldiers who would come back over night.
All the Greeks would leave as if they gave up. However, they would leave the horse. The Trojans had inspected the horse, thinking they had won. When the priest investigated the horse, he said: "I do not like this horse." "We shall burn it"
The Greeks feared for there lives but knew they had the gods on their side. When Athena and Hera sent down a huge sea monster, it killed the priest. The Trojans realized the gods weren't happy with there decision and had to take it in the city gates.
The Trojans celabrated drinking, feasting and dancing. Later that night, the stomach of the horse opened and the Greek sliders came out. They quietly opened the gates to there army which had sailed back durning the night. The Greeks swept in and killed all who challenged them.
King Priam was slain and women were taken as slaves. Helen, was rescued and returned to Sparta and King Menelaus, her husband. Just to be sure, the Greeks set fire to the city of Troy so it would burn. Hecuba's dream had come true.
