NO SIR! This is my seat and I hot here first so I'm not moving anywhere!
December 1st, 1955, Rosa took the local bus. Buses were segregated at the time so whites sat in the front and blacks sat in the back. In the middle of the bus, black people could sit there unless there was no whites, It was empty so she took her seat.
Shortly after, the bus got more full and more passengers came on the bus. The bus driver noticed that several white passengers were standing in the aisle so he got up and ask 4 black passengers to give up there seat. But, Rosa refused to.
Soon after, Rosa was thrown off the bus, arrested, and was fined a fee of 14 dollars. She was pleaded guilty. On December 5th, 1955, she was part of the Montgomery Bus Boycott that lasted 381 days.
