Hello viewers, today I will be interviewing Haden Caulkins. He is currently a seventh grade student at Graland Country Day School and I have asked him to come to talk about What You Do Matters.
Hello. Glad to be here.
Let’s get started. First question, how do you show integrity to your peers and teachers at Graland Country Day School.
I would say I show integrity by doing kind things when nobody is watching. It is a lot harder when you don’t have a crowd around you who are watching. You have to be honest and know what is the right thing to do at that time.
I absolutely agree. Let us say you have graduated from Graland and you are in highschool. If you looked back at Graland, what would you want to be remembered for?
That’s a tough one… (pauses.) I would like to be remembered for putting all of my effort into each one of my classes. I mean, if you dedicated all of your energy to just sports, you would fail at academics. So it is always good to have an equal balance. Of course, I would also want to be remembered for not stealing that second cookie at lunch.
