Hey, I just bought some plastic straws at the store today!
What? Why? Don't you know how harmful they are to our environment?

Yes! Plastic straws actually break into smaller particles and release chemicals into the soil, air, and water.
Wow, really?!
Yes, these chemicals are incredibly harmful to animals, plants, humans, and the environment!
For example, when the animals and marine life eat these plastic straws, the plastic remains in their bodies forever, and ultimately kills them!
These animals' bodies can get easily entangled in the plastic, which then unfortunately leads to suffocation and death for them...
