  • the sisters were invited to go to australia by bishop stewart to run a new parish primary school, in nathalia.
  • go to australia and build a school.
  • the sisters travelled by boat from England and arrived in Australia in December, 1960
  • the sisters worked with parents and friends to build the school.
  • initially there were 120 primary students and 5 secondary students.
  • the sisters taught the students with little equipment: science by the creek and ballet on the lawn.
  • our motto is "thy will be done" because that is how the sisters responded to being asked to move and build a school
