It is 11 o'clock at night and the restaurant is closed. All the customers have left and the only two people still at the restaurant are two employees, Maria and Mindy, who both want to go home but need to clean and close the restaurant.
"We can split up the duties and both go home at the same time."
Mindy says that Maria should clean the restaurant and close up and also tells her she wants to go home. Maria knows this is unfair to her and refuses to take on all the responsibilities at work.
"I'll clean the stove..."
"I'll wash the dishes..."
Maria is assertive and tells Mindy it is unfair if she leaves her with everything to do by herself. She tells Mindy she needs to help her before she leaves.
"Bye Maria, have a good night!"
"Bye Mindy, see you tomorrow!"
To makes things fair and comprise with Mindy, Maria negotiates with Mindy and says they can split up the chores and do an equal amount of work so they can close the restaurant and go home.
Mindy decides to compromise with Maria and they each quickly get to work.
They girls both finish their work in a short amount of time and are happy they get to leave at the same time.
