Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Main Conflict
  • Rising Action
  • "The year is 2081 and finally everyone is equal. They weren't only equal before God and the law. They were equal every which way."
  • Climax
  • "It was tragic, all right, but George and Hazel couldn't think about it very hard. Hazel had a perfectly average intelligence, which meant she couldn't think about anything except in short burst. And George while his intelligence was way above normal, had a little mental handicap in his ear"
  • Falling Action
  • Person Vs. Society(or technology)Harrison tore the straps of his handicap like wet tissue paper, tore straps guaranteed to support 5,000 pounds.Harrison's scraps-iron handicaps fell to the floor."
  • Resolution
  • It was then that Diana Moon Glampers, the handicappers general, came into the studio with a double barreled, 10 gauge shotgun. She fired twice, the Emperor and Empress were dead before they hit the floor"This is the climax because it shows that the government is power full and also shows the people are brainwashed to not do the logical thing. Proves that they wont be taken over.
  • "Diana Moon Glampers loaded her gun again. She aimed at the musicians and told them they had 10 seconds to get their handicaps back on"
  • "George came back in with beer, paused while a handicap shook him up. Then he sat down again. 'You been crying' he said to Hazel 'yup'she said'What about' he said 'I forget' she said.'Something real sad on television'"I believe that this ending goes with the story, is just really sad and leaves the reader almost hanging
