There are many different types of burns. Thermal, Cold, Electrical, Chemical, and Radiation. There are also many degrees of burns.There are first degree, second degree, and third degree burns.
First degree burns are burns that are only in the epidermis, second are in the epidermis and dermis, and third are in the epidermis, dermis, and the subcutaneous tissue. You should always use a pot holder or oven mitt to remove hot foods.
You should also turn all pot handles inward over the counter. You should always turn the stove off when not in use.
