There was once a man whose wife died, and a woman whose husband died, they each had a daughter.
Tell your father I would like to marry him. Then you shall wash yourself in milk everyday and drink wine, and my daughter shall wash herself and drink water.
The girl went home to and told her father, he didn't know what to say. He told his daughter to take his boot, it had a hole in the sole of it. "If the water spills, I shall not marry her. If the water does hold, I shall marry her."
The girl didn't want her father to marry the woman as she knew she was a horrible person. But sadly, the boot held the water.
The woman soon became her stepdaughter's worst enemy, from one day to the next she did everything she could to make her life even more miserable.
One winter morning she made her stepdaughter a paper coat and told her to go outside and find some strawberries in the woods under all the snow.
She then came across a small house, three little dwarfs peeped out the window.
