  • Most Important

  • Speech and Protest / Petition
  • 2nd Most Important
  • 3rd Most Important
  • The Amendment that I feel is most important is Amendment 1. This is the most important because it gives us the freedoms of religion, speech, press, and petition / protest.
  • 4th Most Important
  • The second most important Amendment, in my opinion, is Amendment 8. I think this because, it allows us to have no cruel or unusual punishment, even if we are convicted of a crime.
  • Least Important
  • I believe that the third most important Amendment is Amendment 5. I believe this to be true because it states that we cannot be forced to admit we are guilty during a trial.
  • Adding On
  • The fourth most important Amendment is Amendment 7. This Amendment gives us the right to trial by jury.
  • The least important Amendment is Amendment 9, which simply states that not all of our rights are mentioned in the Constitution.
  • There are more rights than we have listed.
  • If I could add an Amendment, I would add one that stated  that taxes are not allowed to be raised, and must be under one dollar.
