My presentation is on the kingdom of Ghana which lasted from 500 c.e. to 1200 c.e.
The ruler of this kingdom would be a king who manages all the gold and worship
Camals were the main use of transport to carry gold for trading across the sahara which they got from the unknown gold mines of the Wangara
Salt was another thing that was a great use of trading and they harvested it by mining it or evaporating salty water
They taxed people who brought salt into Ghana and other goods out of Ghana, this allowed Ghana to become rich in gold and profits to support armies and merchants
Kumbi was one of the greatest marketplaces for merchants and smiths of any kind, it was also one of the largest slave markets who came from the borders of Ghana
