The pilgrims set off to a new journey. They wanted to break away the Catholic church. They are on a ship called the Mayflower.
The pilgrims went to Cape Cod and they called their town Plymouth.
The pilgrims slowly built their town. They were not rich so they had to use their hands to work. They learned how to fish, farm, and hunt from the Natives.
The American Indians became allies with the pilgrims. Even though the Pilgrims did suffer from the disease and lose some people, including the starving time period, they started a new life.
The pilgrims suffered through the bad but they also benefited a lot as well. They had a feast with the indians to celebrate peace between the 2 sides.
Later on, the Plymouth colony absorbed with the Massachusetts colony because it was successful.
