- Caroline, we need to get you to a doctor NOW!
- Unfortunately, happiness doesn't always last. A week after Caroline proposed, she started to feel severe pain in her chest.
- Alex, I don't feel very well...
- Caroline was diagnosed with breast cancer. She and Alejandra didn't know how to cope.
- Oh, Caroline!
- B-but, our wedding!
- I truly am sorry to inform you both that Caroline's cancer has already reached Stage 4. However, my team and I will do whatever we can to prolong your life, Caroline.
- Alejandra had mourned for months on end, but after a while, she came to a realization: she wanted to become a surgeon. The medical team had worked their hardest to save Caroline, operating and discussing and planning what they could possibly do to save her. Although they were unable to succeed, Alejandra realized that she wanted to save people's loved ones, or at the very least try as hard as Caroline's medical team did. Maybe Alejandra wouldn't always be happy, especially when she failed, but it felt right somehow.
