Storyboard Text

  • In the Paleolithic Age people obtained food by hunting animals and gathering plants.
  • In the Neolithic Age people learned to domesticate animals and to produce their own crops.
  • In the Paleolithic Age people lived in caves or rough tents that were temporary.
  • This meant that people had to move around a lot because of climate change to the crops and that animals would be gone.
  • In the Neolithic Age people learned how to build tiny house like structures out of mud bricks packed together.
  • This change was important because now people did not have to move place to place to get crops and to find new animals to hunt.
  • In the Paleolithic Age people did not have big communities because of moving around so much.
  • This meant that people were hunter gatherers which means they move around a lot to get crops and hunt animals, so they did not make permanent house like structures to live in.
  • In the Neolithic Age people stayed in places much longer....
  • Which meant that they can have bigger communities to divide up their work.
  • This change was important because now that people do not have to move around anymore they can make permanent house like structures to stay in because of climate change.
  • This meant that people did not have big communities so every job was to everyone not just one job for each person.
  • This change was important because now that people can stay at a place for a longer period of time, they can make bigger communities to divide up the work for different people.
