- Hey pal, you are a great digger, I’m the leader here, and if you dig part of my hole each day, I can give you protection
- What?
- huuummm nothing, is that you seem pretty familiar
- Well, I got here like a month and a half before you
- Hey, how long have you been here at camp?
- The first day Zero needed to dig a hole, all boys were surprised that he digs so fast. X-Ray (the leader of the group) talk to Zero and try to make a deal with him but Zero quickly demonstrate that he wasn't interested.
- A month later
- Zero went to rest in the wreck room, (this is a room in which almost everything is broken) while he was there Stanley come in, he notices that Stanley was staring at him, and that creeps him out.
- I am really tired of digging holes for the Warden.
- The next day Stanley sits with Zero for breakfast and talks about different things.
- Nothing, I was going to sleep

- Another day of the miserable life of Stanley and Zero, they were talking while digging another hole.

- At night Zero was planning how to escape from Camp Green Lake.
