  • Architects created the idea of pyramids by smoothing out step pyramids. The step pyramids were made by an architect by the name Imhotep.
  • Workers would draw on the walls and sculpt statues for the mummy to have in the after life.
  • The building of the pyramids was a laborish work. It was once thought by scholars that slaves did all the work but know we know that a lot of the workers were farmers.
  • Their are 365 days in the Egyptian's lunar calendar. When the Greeks started using the calendar, they added leap years.
  • Egyptians learned about anatomy from working on mummies. When you study the body structure you are studying anatomy. 
  • We know Egyptians were good at doing math because of how well the built the pyramids and it also shows how well the were at geometery.
  • Egypt traded grain, cloth, papyrus glass, and jewlwery. In return the Egyptians got ivory from Nubia
  • Egypt and Nubia became interdependence of each other or depended on each other. Soon the Egyptian's religion became adopted by the Nubian's along with other parts of Egyptian culure.
  • The goods egyptians got from trading around Mediteranian lands was cedar wood, olive oil and metals like tin and copper.
