- This scene shows the two generals-Banquo and Macbeth, of king duncan of scotland had defeated king of norweigian and is going to inform the the news to king duncan.
- I am really happy that we won the war against Norweigian King, Banquo.
- Me too Macbeth. we have worked for this.
- Who are these people ?
- In this scene the three witches appear and mention the prophecies to Banquo and Macbeth and they vanishes.
- We are three witches and we are here to tell some prophecies about your lives.
- Look Macbeth, you will be the Cheiftan of Gamis, Cheiftan of Cawdor and King of Scotland. And Banquo will be the father of future kings.
- This scene shows that while Macbeth was thinking although the first prophecy was true and how the other two prophecies will come true. and that time two scottish nobles appeared and informed them a news.
- Appreciation on the victory in the war with Norweigian king.
- and the king has promoted you to become the cheiftan of cawland.
- Banquo, how will i become the king of Scotland ? and how will you become the future father of the kings ?
- In this scene they both are travelling to the castle and Macbeth is happy that the first two prophecies are true and how the last prophecy will happen.
- Macbeth, you should never think about cheating the king.
- Macbeth didn't listen to Banquo's warning and he thinks about how he can fulfill the third prophecy. He send a letter to Lady Macbeth-his wife saying all the information about the prophecies and how the other two prophecies are fulfilled.
- Lady macbeth is very happy as she wishes for king duncan's downfall as in his father was the reason why Lady Macbeth's brother and grandfather was killed. So Lady Macbeth is plotting to kill her,
