The narrator arrives at Roderick Usher's house after he received an INvitation from him. He is chilled by the house and notices a small fissure in it. He finds Roderick in a bad state (mental and physical).
This place gives me the heebie-jeebies.
Roderick's sister Madeline dies (or so they think) and both him and the narrator go insane. One night, there is a terrible storm. Roderick reveals that his mental pain was caused by the fact that he knew his sister was alive and had been hearing her.
Roderick says that Madeline Is Right Outside the Door. He is Right. At that moment, she bursts through the door, blood covering her clothes.
Madeline Falls on Roderick and Immediately Dies. Roderick then dies (probably from fear). The narrator, Terrified, flees from the scene.
The narrator escapes from the house and sees it cracking in half from the fissure and being destroyed. The house of usher is no more.
