Fraud- Billy sees the Incoming funds are coming into the company today, he intercepts them before they are recorded in the company's accounting records. Billy was able to do this because he is allowed to both open the mail and record accounting transactions.
Here is the story how billy, had to deal with many ways a contract can be undermined...
Innocent misrepresentation- Later that week Billy wanted to sell a used TV, he sells it on craiglist and he did not know the TV was broken.
Unilateral- Billy then signed a contract for his new car, he did not realize he would have to put a down payment on the car and wanted to get out of the contract. Bilateral- although billy did not know about the down payment, the car dealership realized they put the wrong price for the down payment.
Undue influence- Billy also has 2 brothers and his step- mom passes away, she says that one of his nephews gets all the will, billy believes she is not in the right state of mind to make the will and want to challenge it. The court ordered that the will must be changed.
Duress- Billy is also in a relationship with Anna, Anna buys him a new phone for 700$ and billy promises to pay her back in monthly payments for 6 months. They break up in 3 months and Anna demands him to pay her the rest back. She shows up to his house with a piece of paper and it stated their agreement and billy's signature in her hand writing. Billy brings it to small claims court and the judge hears both their arguments. The judge orders Billy to pay the rest of the amount owed.
By the end of the week billy was a pro with all the ways a contract can be undermined, he decided to become a lawyer.
